Description
Agar agar by Lotus is sourced from China and packed in Australia. It is 100% organic and is obtained from algae. It is a vegetarian substitute to gelatin made from animal extracts. It is rich in calcium, iron and has no fat or carbohydrates in it. It is also a rich source of dietary fibre.
Suggested Usage
Mix 2tsp of agar agar in a cup of water and heat to get a thick clear liquid. It can be used in preparing cakes, jellies and jams and to thicken soups and sauces.
