Please also note that the shipping rates for items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogram.

Free Shipping Policy
Whilst we DO NOT Offer free shipping - we do offer a $6.95 discount towards your shipping when you spend $99 or more on products. This is calculated in shopping cart and is the same amount that metro Melbourne customers pay for freight. For orders on products over $300, an additional $6.95 discount will be applied to your cart.
We work towards 48 hour dispatch for all products. Due to the high volume of daily transactions received, many items sold via discount or on sale will be dispatched as received from our suppliers.
We currently order as often as daily from from four of Australia’s major organic distributors and manufacturers. Due to interstate locations of some of these suppliers it takes up to 2-3 business days to receive some items, so please be patient with your order. The maximum anticipated dispatch period for discounted items will be 5 business days from order to dispatch. This is the offset in supplying the 10,000+ lines on our site, at the cheapest rates in Australia from numerous suppliers.
We understand that some items are urgently required for trips away or as gifts. Please flag any deadlines in comments section of your order so we are aware of time sensitive deliveries.
We currently use only Australia Post for deliveries.
Australia Post services are NOT covered by any insurance and any damage or loss of parcel after it has been scanned as have left Buy Organics Online is solely at buyers risk. By purchasing with Buy Organics Online, the buyer accepts Buy Organics Online are not liable for any refunds or reimbursements for damage or loss from using Australia Post services. We do provide up to $50 cover for any products that have been damaged or lost during transit. This is valid for 48 hours after the parcel has been recorded as being delivered. Please email photos of damages to [email protected] so we can address. Customers are required to cover costs to reship any damaged or lost items not covered with extra insurance purchased on deliveries.
If you are concerned about wanting insurance, please contact our team to arrange for small additional costs. Once dispatched and tracking details provided, BUY ORGANICS ONLINE accepts no responsibly for delivery delays or loss of parcels. Our team are able to lodge enquiries on behalf of customers with Australia Post, which will typically speed up locating missing or late deliveries.
Loss and damage is minimal and runs at around 0.4% of all deliveries. We take great care packing items to ensure they arrive safely.
Please note that all staff and contractors from Australia Post are not supplied with mobile phones and as such, WILL NOT phone you before delivering parcel. Please do not ask, as will not happen.
Delivery of orders:

Authority to leave:
Customers can opt to provide delivery instructions in such cases when unlikely to be home. Please provide any specific delivery instructions in order comments. Please be specific and keep messages within 80 characters to ensure messages are not truncated on shipping label. The comments section is the last box before finalising order & paying.
Authority to Leave Terms & Conditions
By selecting "Authority to Leave" during the checkout page (or if you selected this option over the telephone with our Customer Service Center), the delivery company will leave your parcel at your unattended premises in accordance with your instructions.
You (the customer) agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises - as per details listed on tracking numbers.
Buy Organics Online and its courier service providers associated with the delivery, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from this Authority to Leave delivery method. You agree to release Buy Organics Online from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of this Authority to Leave.

Heat sensitive items:
We do NOT provide refrigerated courier services. Whilst every effort will be taken to protect goods, we do not offer dry ice or other frozen packaging as part of packing products. All standard deliveries are made by road express; meaning package will be sitting in interstate trucks, warehouses and delivery vans that shield direct sunlight on package but do little to reduce temperatures. We would suggest considering EXPRESS post quote to minimise the exposure to high temperatures. Items such as chocolates, truffles and chocolate biscuits are a risky products to send throughout warmer months.
We will accept NO responsibility for any items effected by heat during transport and they are solely sent at the buyers risk.
Risk & Title
Buy Organics Online will retain title to the goods you order until you have made payment in full for the goods. All the risk in the goods will pass to the buyer upon the delivery of the goods to, or collection of the goods by a postal service. Insurance is not valid for any purchases sent with Australia Post or with any orders left with Authority to leave, as chosen by the customer. If you are concerned about damage or breakage, please contact us to obtain insurance for modest cost.
Buy Organics Online is unable to refund any orders that have been dispatched as per tracking number/s allocated. You own the products in your order after they have left us.
We do not accept returns and issue refunds unless a result of error from our end or product defect.
Defective items are NOT products that you have an alergic reaction to. Product ingredients are listed and it is the responsibility of the customer to check that these products do not contain ingredients that may cause irritation or other issues.
Once an order has been submitted, the purchaser can request a refund, and Buy Organics Online will decide if an order can be refunded. If we have ordered, received, packaged or paid for the items that were requested by the buyer, we may decide not to allow refunds.
We can NOT accept back any food items.
We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
If your return has been approved (when not incorrect or defective item) you are responsible for your own shipping costs to return to us. We may be able to provide reply paid label (which you cover the cost for) which is between $10-$15, and may in certain circumstances be a cheaper option. Please ask our staff.
You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Refunds for "change of mind" orders, will be refunded with actual shipping costs calculated. For example, if you return products totalling over $100 that had discount for shipping applied, this shipping discount will be reversed and you will pay actual shipping costs that were incurred in sending the products to you.
If a parcel is not collected from Australia Post collection point within the 2-4 working days allowed and is returned to us as unclaimed a $10 charge per sent parcel will apply. This is the cost we incur for your returned parcel. If you would like us to resend the parcel, this $10 fee + new shipping cost will be applicable. If you prefer a refund or to cancel, we will refund the cost of products less all return postage costs and any discounts we supplied in originally posting to you. We also charge a 20% restocking fee on returns that are unclaimed or when we are unable to contact you to arrange redelivery within 7 days of receiving your parcel back.

Refunds will be processed either by;
- Refunding to credit card used for purchase
- Refunding paypal transactions
- EFT to nominated Bank Accounts.
Please note: Any requests for bank cheque or money orders, will be processed on weekly basis inline with post office & bank visits and have fees associated to be passed on and deducted from any refund amounts.
Also note that we are unable to refund to credit cards if purchases were made by alternative methods.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Buy Organics Online reserves the right to cancel any transaction which may be as the result of incorrectly listed price or shipping price.
All the white beads included in packaging are plant based. They are made from cornstarch and disolve in water. They can be disposed of in green waste.
Green coloured bubble wrap is biodegradable.
All other packaging materials have been reused as provided by our suppliers sending us stock. We try to reuse as much of the inbound packaging & boxes we receive stock in as priority.
